Some fresh Ben sightings I dare you not to check out:
That was at the company baseball trip this summer.
These are all from the Fourth of July fireworks:
These were all taken by Staci ( and Jay? ) and really show how poorly Beth and I have done at taking pictures of our own family. Maybe we'll get a decent camera this Christmas.

I have an odd fondness for Galaxy of Terror, but it's deifeitnly a heavily flawed film. For one thing, I recall digging it a lot right up until the climax.Even putting aside the fact that I tend to be a little skeeved out by films where all the women end up dead, the logic of the climax is all wrong. My memory is a little hazy, but: Supposedly the Pyramid is there to serve as a test to determine who shall be the new Master, right? But originally it served as a tool to help the children of whatever species built it to face and overcome their fears. That's all fine and dandy, as long as you ignore that it was hardly a fair test since nobody knew they'd be facing their fears made flesh so they could hardly have done anything but die uselessly, except for one huge problem:The hero never faced his fears. He just didn't apparently have any. The closest he came to facing his fears was when the Master threw everybody elses's fears at him. The only person who actually faced his fear and successfully overcame it was Robert Englund's character and he just kind of disappears from the story after that. Seems like he should have been the choice to take over as Master, really.
