I suspect that Ben's first language ( well, first language after english ) will be ruby.
Well, that is if they don't end up slowly ruining the language in much the way that has occurred in other languages. ( *cough -- every scripting language that starts with a p )
For all the talk about ruby's improved semmantics, can someone explain the 'case' command? 'Case' is not a verb, and it is used in a manner that is 180 degrees out of phase with all languages that have descended from C. Why couldn't they have used 'choose' or 'given'?

I'd try. I'd hope it was just a 'phase.' Growing up is as much about making your own mistakes as it is learning from others'.
