Northwest Sucks - Continued

I'm finally home. But predicatbly, they have lost my luggage. Not just some of it. ALL of it. They show that some of it made it to atlanta. They show that some of it made it to knoxville. They can locate none of it.

Detroit

So I'm finally in detroit. Geographically further from home, but logistically much closer.

the detroit airport is very nice - very utilitarian. Well organized, though the seats don't look too comfortable if you're spending the night.

Northwest sucks and so does Delta

So, now it is saturday morning. I report to the delta checkin, and just like the local hotels, they refuse the electronic ticket from Northwest. I return to northwest and get a paper ticket. Then it's back to delta where they give me an exit row seat.

Then, due to another flight cancellation, they take my seat back, saying that delta customers have to be given the seats.

So back to northwest. They call delta to complain, which does no good. Now I'm stuck waiting for a 2 ...

Northwest sucks

So here I am, stuck in the memphis airport all night. After what turned into a 5 hour layover, they cancelled my flight home. They gave vouchers to spend the night at a local hotel. The hotel refused to accept the vouchers because they were full. The rental places for cars have none available, oneway or returning. All of this because of the upcoming holiday I guess.

I did get a flight tomorrow at 10 am to atlanta where I hope to subsequently find my way home.
