Poor Ben

Having a two year old child, you get used to the tantrums at some point. But, oh my gosh, I didn't know how much having a motorcycle would complicate things.

I took my bike out this morning with the intent of running the tank down, getting some fresh gas, adding stabilizer, etc, figuring that the law of averages dictates it's going to get pretty cold in January/Ferbruary. When I returned I found Ben and his mom competely besides themselves. Ben is completely distraught over not getting to go on the ride.

He has always loved the bike since he could walk. For Christmas, we got him a big wheel and a helmet. The big wheel was one thing, but he apparently took the helmet as his ticket to ride the motorcycle. This disappointment appears to be almost unbearable. I hope he recovers soon.

A note from the author

HackerMojo.com is using a fluid layout based upon work by Dave Reeder. I'm trying to take CSS a little more seriously; but I'm having a hard time because of all of the bad syntax, browser compatibility hacks, and non-fluid layouts. If any of the other technology I used were like CSS, I'd have to set myself on fire and jump off of a cliff.

When we decided to move, I shut everything down and put the servers ...

What's there to do at 3 am? How about writing a javascript eyedropper/css manipulator?

It seemed like a good idea at the time...

This does a couple of interesting things.

First, almost all of the dynamic css and dhtml that I see on the net involve manipulating the ...
